DrumJet

As answer to the market demands for a “concrete buildup prevention device”, Blascon developed the DrumJet. An electrical driven, pressure washout system for concrete mixertruck drums. The optional heating within the insulated housing and automatic draining system, makes it possible to operate the system down to minus 15° C. The specially designed nozzle head makes the pressure-water thoroughly remove mortar adhesion from every inch of the inside of the drum. As optional feature the DrumJet system can be equipped with a working platform on the roof of the DrumJet housing.

Buildup prevention

Because of the market demands and the arguments named under “Buildup removal” Blascon developed the DrumJet. A method to prevent buildup forming inside the concrete mixerdrum. The basics of this method is the same as the curative method. A boom is steered into the mixerdrum. Big difference is that this cleaning, also called drum washout, lasts only 5 minutes and during the process it is possible to discharge already the debris. The quick 5-minute process creates the possibility to “washout” multiple times a day which could be a solution with special concrete compositions. DrumJet offers a quick, fully automated, driver independent washout resulting in:
